Vintage 1940s large format matchbook from the iconic Stork Club in New York City. The Stork Club was a famous haunt for the New York and Hollywood elite, open from 1928 to 1961. The club began as a speakeasy during the prohibition period and transitioned to its location on East 51st street.
Combined piece with an advertisement included on it for Chesterfield cigarettes.
